Tasha Layton to Perform at U-Turn Series Concert July 5

July 04, 2026

Tasha Layton is bringing her voice to Jackson County, West Virginia this weekend. The celebrated contemporary Christian artist is set to perform as part of the U-Turn Series concert on Sunday, July 5 at 6 p.m., sharing the evening with local bands Inheritance and Second String.

Layton has been one of Christian music's most recognized female voices since she first reached radio audiences in 2020. Her debut album, How Far, delivered the No. 1 title track along with the chart-topping "Look What You've Done" and her breakthrough single "Into the Sea (It's Gonna Be OK)." She notched another No. 1 radio single in 2024 with "Worship Through It," then released her first live worship album, Worship Through It Live, in 2025.

Her latest album, Life In Me, arrived in October 2025 and gathers a wide-ranging set of songs about her walk with Christ, with guest turns from Chris Brown, Rachael Lampa, Colton Dixon and Tim Hughes. Fans of her seasonal music also know her Christmas projects, including the GMA Dove Award-nominated live edition of This Is Christmas.

Beyond the studio, Layton's story runs deep. She appeared on Season 9 of American Idol and spent four years as a backing vocalist for Katy Perry before stepping into worship music. She's also a published author, with titles including Boundless: Moving Freedom From Your Head to Your Heart and the children's book A Big and Boundless Love. She and her husband, Keith, are raising their two children on a farm just outside Nashville.

The U-Turn Series concert takes place Sunday, July 5 at 6 p.m. For the latest on Tasha's music and upcoming dates, visit tashalayton.com.
